Ship subsystems

Ships are commonly upgradeable and come with various types of replaceable subsystems. Some of them are essential by providing basic functionality (e.g. Power generation, Engines). Every working ship require them to be installed. And some are optional by giving additional abilities or by raising qualities (e.g. Weapons). Subsystems are sensitive to internal and external influences. They are vulnerable to power failures and damaging as well as to physical intrusions like radiation or overheating. The pilot should choose all equipment carefully and avoid dangerous situations.
